The hate everything about Flood crowd was quick to criticize and dismiss the post, and criticize me as supporting Flood. There are some real childish dickheads on this board who should shut up and grow up. It's fine to celebrate what is right and good about Rutgers football---and there is a lot that is right and good about Rutgers football to celebrate.
GSR does nothing for the U... It was pathetic how we would pound our chest about GSR and APR....it wreaks of desperation. "Hey we've got nothing else to be proud of, so how 'bout that APR!?!"
I mean seriously, have you ever heard any fan or alum of any other serious program brag about their football team's APR/GSR????? ANYONE? I never even heard about that metric until we were near that top and started trying to use that as a recruiting tool. Newsflash....the kids in HS don't give a rats ace about APR.... its all about the $$$. End of story.
Find more important things to care about... like getting our base to donate money to the damn school.
Congratulations to all the student-athletes and to Scott Walker and Most of his staff for all the hard work and perseverance, to achieve a goal that is not done by ~128 colleges and universities in this country!

Seems like in the rush to knock Flood no one posting in this thread even made an effort to congratulate the players that were the cause of the academic achievement that Rutgers University was honored for.
Stop your bitching about everything you can think of to make this honor look less than it is
and give the players the credit they deserve for their work in the classroom that made this honor possible.

My apologies for including you with the ones that ignored the players academic accomplishments in their rush to prove a point about the subject of this thread and the APR brought into the conversation.
Has anyone given the players credit for their part in RU's GSR & APR ???

Most in this thread didn't ignore the players accomplishments, they simply refused to give Fludd credit for it. I guess that's more than enough to get people to go into attack mode.
