Is this serious? He played hurt all year. He's selfish with no respect for his teammates.
Adventure has a name and it is moron! He's selfish with no respect for his teammates.
Either you make a commitment to your teammates (and them to you) or you don't.Is this serious? He played hurt all year.
GfyHe's selfish with no respect for his teammates.
I'll never recover.
It’s a business move, plain and simpleEither you make a commitment to your teammates (and them to you) or you don't.
School should provide insurance for those who are NFL caliber. He's selfish with no respect for his teammates.

You are either a troll or an idiot or bothHe's selfish with no respect for his teammates.
NJ.com HL…..Greg Schiano benches star RB in bowl game.Heard from very reliable sources that Greg advised Kyle to opt out
And you’re an idiot. He's selfish with no respect for his teammates.
He's more than likely devastated by this .My opinion of him has dropped a notch.
While I’m not a fan of the move, as it is what it is.School should provide insurance for those who are NFL caliber.

Kinda torn here. I understand the economics. I also have less sympathy now that they're paid. I kinda see it as a contract now. You got your free education and your NIL money. Now play the game.
Don't you think being in the CFP different than a 7-5 team playing in a bowl? I never bashed any player for making a decision that is best for their future earning potential. On the other hand, going forward in the NIL era, I think it would be wise and fair for the entity paying the NIL to put a stipulation in that there will be a negotiated amount deducted from a player's NIL should them opt out of bowl game, and that opt out amount should be larger for a team in the CFP. Does this seem reasonable for a player who is getting paid to play? Keep in mind, it's negotiable.Just like PSU and other players were devastated when posters called them selfish for opting out and said they wouldn't draft them?
KM is just like every other player who got bashed.
Except now it's a Rutgers player so the backtracking is giving posters whiplash.

This wouldn’t surprise me at all. IIRCwe had a player (correct me if I am wrong but I think it was Singleton) got hurt when he was declaring for the nfl but got hurt in that Gator Bowl fiasco and the NCAA denied his request for another year of eligibility. Greg was one unhappy camper over that issue. He might not want to jeopardize Kyle’s career.Heard from very reliable sources that Greg advised Kyle to opt out
Considering we only have a single guy sitting out I would say they matter to a hell of a lot of people. Yes.Still think minor bowls matter?
