I'm going to be coming to the Rutgers-PSU game next month and was wondering where to stay, eat, tailgate and all that good stuff. My buddy is a PSU fan and hooked me up for the Pitt-Clemson game so I figured I would return the favor. Thanks in advance guys, hoping for a big Rutgers victory that week.

There is a pinned thread at the top with a lot of good info. A few quick recs...

Food and drink options depend on your age/preference. College side of town is Easton Ave and Adult side of town is George St. Both are fun but I prefer George St. Great food and drink options there. George street ale house is a fav and steak house 85 is NYC quality steaks. Plenty of other good options there.

As for tailgating, get a pass in one of the lots walking distance to the stadium and find a friendly tailgate. Plenty of friendly fans here, just ask.

If you go to the pinned threads on the top of your this forum, you'll see one that says Rutgers Gameday Information. Lots of great stuff in there.

Personally, I'd try Stuff Yer face, Brother Jimmy's, and obviously the Grease Trucks. There are some other nice spots downtown as well. Easton Ave is where to go for the drinks. Stuff's and Brother Jimmy's both have bars as well. Other places include Kelly's, Olive Branch, Corner Tavern, and Hub City Brewhouse. Olde Queens, Scarlet Pub, and Knightclub are the popular bars for the youngins. If you want to stay close to campus, try the Hyatt. Could be a bit pricey though. Other options are a little further away, but not as expensive. If your setting up a tailgate, best options are to buy a parking pass or get to Johnson Park pretty early. Got an RV, go to the RAC. Otherwise, I'd walk around the Scarlet, Blue, and Yellow lots if you're looking for some awesome tailgates. We don't mess around when it comes to the pregame festivities lol.
