Rutgers had 40 more rebounds than ccny ?

Our second team clearly would have beat them, as should be the case whenever you play a D3 school. It wasn't as competitive as if we were scrimmaging our 5 worst guys.

60-20
So it was like a scrimmage ?
It should have been an exhibition game. Scheduling a D3 team for a regular season games is embarrassing enough even if you're in the SoCon. But for a B1G school? Yeesh.

I have been to some CUNY games, I am friends with the Commissioner. These teams front courts are generally 6'2 to 6'5 like a surbaban high school. It was a riduclous matchup.

80% of the basketball schedule was embarrassing last night. About 13 teams alone In the top 25 won by about 30+. I won’t bother going through the rest.

Whether it’s a low D2,D3 etc does it really make a difference? A non competitive game is a non competitive game. Let’s not make this a Rutgers problem.

And I’m not even upset about it. If just about everyong else is going to have a game like this on the schedule towards he beginning of their year, why not us?

I won't dispute that blowouts happen early in the season @sport2231 but scheduling a D3 team in a regular season game is laughable.

I don't pay close attention to Rutgers' schedule, I was covering a game in Tampa when I got a text from someone in Atlanta laughing about Rutgers playing a D3 School. When I got the text I thought the person was misinformed. Then during a TV timeout I looked it up and saw they were right.

Lets not forget that Rutgers lost to some of these so called cupcake teams in past seasons. All it takes is a hot shooting game by the opponent and Rutgers shoots bricks. No game should be taken for granted .
