2017 Rosh Hashana is a Thu and Fri while Yom Kippur is a Sat
2018 the holidays are midweek

2020 Rosh Hashanah is a Sat and Sun with Yom Kippur on a Monday

I don't think that's what RutgersMo meant. I think he meant that Jews who light sabbath candles Friday night will not come to Friday night games. On the other hand, probably the majority of Jews who light candles on Friday night also refrain from coming to an athletic event on a Saturday, so I'm not sure it's a big problem.
