Rutgers overcame the horrid non conference sos last year and not having a quality win out of the Big 10 schedule because they did something unusual...RU pulled off super wins over the likes of Illinois, Purdue and at Wisconsin. Those type of feather in the cap wins sometimes count as two wins. There is no guarantee that the Big 10 will offer wins that will be that highly thought of this season. What if RU lost those 3 games but beat Maryland, at Penn State and at Minnesota....in that case the RU resume does not look as impressive...still with two bad losses, bad ooc...the quality wins become at Indiana, Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State...is that enough to get in...I say no. This is the type of scenerio that a 11-9 or 12-8 Big 10 school could face. There were 3 Big 10 schools that barely made it into the tourney. Indiana was a half away from being left out had they lost in the first round of the Big 10 tourney. What if RU didnt win at Indiana
