Rutgers Lax recruiting

Found this on the Laxpower,com website. I remember some comments of how
they dont get kids from the traditional power prep and public schools
especially in NJ, these show that. If you look through the list a lot of
the NJ kids are going to as mentioned to the traditional top 20 schools
like Hopkins the Ivies etc. the link is 2016/2017
2017/18 only 1 so far

Well, Brecht never said that he was going to build a wall around New Jersey.

Saw on twitter the other day that a kid (soph?) from St. Joes of Metuchen committed to RU. Defense, I think. So he might see the field in 2018. Underclass recruiting is just crazy.

If not a wall, how about a curb, so at least some of the top kids trip on it and we can keep them home. Never going to be able to get all the top players, but you need to keep some top players home. If you cannot keep a few of the top NJ players, it is tuff to compete, because realistically RU will not get NY's or MD top players.

And agree the recruiting of 9th graders is nuts...NCAA needs to do something.
