With the start of a new school year, Rutgers men's lacrosse has unveiled the team's new look roster ahead of the spring 2025 season, welcoming a host of newcomers to join the Scarlet Knights. Between incoming freshmen and transfers, RU will welcome 25 new student-athletes to the program, with seven transfers and 18 freshmen.

Lot of faceoff options both in transfers and frosh. Frosh class looks deeper than last year. I've seen Falzon play a number of games via you tube. He's not Kurdyla, but is a solid midfielder.

Lots of talent available. The question will be how fast can it all gel and how fast can the newcomers get comfortable in the system.

College lacrosse lost a lot of veteran talent on a number of teams last season. We were no different obviously. Our D will come in ahead of the O looking at the returners. How fast can the O get comfortable is the question along with finding the right mix of talent. Kelly back at attack leaves two spots open. Brady Kurdyla will likely get a real long look for the second spot. Seems like its really his time now. The third spot will be interesting. Do we put in a lefty there or go with 3 righties. Vorang is a transfer freshman but his skill set is pretty ridiculous. Assuming good health it will be interesting. We have options there.

Midfield will be another. Obviously Colin Kurdyla is the man now but who will pick up the slack? The Merrimack transfer is going to see a lot of time no question. He can play. We had so many injuries last year that we didn't get to see the younger guys they were expecting to play. How they've developed over the year will be key.

@Caliknight was Brady K injured last year? I saw he didnt play any games last year on the roster page. I tried to forget last season so my memory is foggy

He was a redshirt. The idea was to get him back to his most natural position which is at the x. Obviously Ross Scott held that spot down so it was a good opportunity to learn and develop more He's going to have a big year. The talent is obviously there.

Kelly healthy will help a lot as will production on the left side. That's the spot I'm most interested in seeing who grabs it. Said it above but it wouldn't shock me to see Vorang there. He's young but his skill set is extremely unique. He put up video game numbers at the top school in NYS. If he can stay healthy I could see him making a big impact. Reminds me of an Americanized AC.

Check out his tape from his soph year in high school. His stroke was already pure at that age. Putting up 336 points in NYS in 3 seasons is crazy.
