Woolfolk, Palmquist, Reiber, Mag, AND MULCAHY -- yes, Mulcahy -- all look about an inch or two taller than Cliff in that first picture, and it's a valid comparison, as they're all lined up in a straight line so there's no depth perception issues.

sure. And I guess 6'4" Spencer who is next to Cliff is almost the same height as well.

There are two rows in the pic, not a straight line. Cliff clearly isn't standing up straight
 
Oh my…..braves pitchers played golf all the time during season. Yoenis cespedes played on the day the Mets had a World Series game. We know many of the Rutgers players won’t be playing golf on game days.

Hmmm.. it is a perspective issue with camera being below the waist for that shot. BUT.. PM's feet are squarely on the ground. No tippy-toe going on. Cliff is leaning forward.. trying to make it easier for the guys next to him to lock arms on the shoulders. I think that is the main illusion. Cliff's right foot is behind and his left is bending forward at the knee.
