Rutgers Men's Golf Ready for Fighting Irish Classic / Monday & Tuesday

utgers men's golf continues the fall season as it competes at the Fighting Irish Classic in South Bend, Indiana. The 54-hole event, hosted by Notre Dame, will take place Monday and Tuesday at the Warren Golf Club, a par-71, 7,023 yard venue.

Round 1: Monday, Oct. 7 - 8:30 a.m. ET
Round 2: Monday, Oct. 7 - After Round One
Round 3: Tuesday, Oct. 8 - 8 a.m. ET

Gotterup Atop Leaderboard After Day One of Fighting Irish Classic


Courtesy of a bogey free, eight-under-par 63 in the second round, junior Christopher Gotterup is atop the leaderboard after day one of the Fighting Irish Classic in South Bend, Indiana. With one round to play, Gotterup owns a four-stroke lead with an 11-under-par 131 (68-63) and will tee off of hole one at 10:06 a.m. tomorrow morning for a chance to secure the first individual title for Rutgers men's golf since 2017.

Gotterup Captures 2019 Fighting Irish Classic Title




Classic title with a 14-under-par 199 (68-63-68) on Tuesday in South Bend, Indiana. The win was the first of Gotterup's collegiate career and the first for Rutgers men's golf since classmate Oliver Whatley won the Janney Invitational during the 2017 fall season.
