I don't know, I haven't spoken to him yet. He just got the offer.Russ - thanks.
Any legitimate chance of him committing to RU?

I don't know who won the scrimmage. Winners and losers don't really matter in those scrimmages because they're so controlled.Hey Russ
Sorry to bother you...but did we ever find out who won the Yale scrimmage?
Also will the St. John's game be on WCTC, BTN, Fox...any ideas?
Thanks

The @BigTenNetwork will stream Sunday's charity exhibition vs. St. John's (1 PM) on BTN Plus & make a donation to Red Cross Disaster Relief.

If they are smart, they make contact to see if there is any mutual interest. If there is mutual interest an offer may be made right away or an assistant reaches out and tells the kid that he is going to recruit him hard. Sometimes they'll say things like: "I'd offer you right now if it was up to me but our HC hasn't seen you yet so I have to wait for him to see you. In the meanwhile you'll be hearing from me frequently and I'll be down to watch your team practice/workout/play."It’s interesting how these offers go out. Do the coaches make contact and see if there’s any mutual interest in coming to the school or do they just see kids in tournaments and take a shot with an offer?
It’s just odd how there are so few open scholarships and so many offers out there. I’m sure we haven’t run into too many situations where multiple guys wanted to commit early in hoops and we had to make a decision quickly of yes or no but I’m sure other schools are in those situations. Definitely not an easy process to manage to piece together the recruiting puzzle. Must be fun when you’ve got something great to sell.
