This rivalry is more for beat writers tgan for fans anymore

The lack of juice about this game on the board says alot
I think it depends if you have friends or family that are seton hall fans. It’s all relative. But since we aren’t in the same league anymore it’s kinda blah . By Tuesday we will have forgotten about this game

Yes, the first game to sell out every year is for the beat writers, lol

The board is focused on nitty gritty things like NET rankings, barttorvik advanced analytics, recruiting battles, etc... but the vast majority of fans aren't on this board.

I'm from the era when SHU wasn't relevant for anything. I miss the Princeton rivalry.

The OSU game has taken a lot out of me. Haven’t watched any college basketball games since. Really need a break.

This wasn't the first game to sell out this year. Michigan was the first game to sell out. This was fifth or sixth.

Is that recorded anywhere?

From what I can find on the thread history, SHU was the only game Rutgers did not plan on opening up for single ticket sales to the general public, and within 48 hours of opening sales to season ticket holders on 10/4 there were only about 50 tickets left in the upper corners.

There is always a lot of interest in this game, and it's the 6th consecutive sellout in the series (even though they don't open the whole arena for the SHU home games). It's not just for the beat writers.
