Rutgers, which last held a gymnastics meet at the home of its basketball teams in 2006 when it hosted the EAGL Championships, is cashing in its 40-year old gymnastics program like never before. After selling tickets for home competitions for the first time last year, the program sold 105 season tickets (compared to only 14) for this season. As a result, school officials say overall ticket revenue for gymnastics is up 53 percent this year.

"I'll never forget the meet we had last year, with Penn State and Temple here and fans were lined up hundreds deep not being able to get into the building,'' said Levine, who is in his fourth season as Rutgers' head coach and his eighth year with the program overall. "It really shows how far we've come as a program. There's great gymnastics being performed, and people want to see great gymnastics.
