Tom Izzo should stop being scared of the RAC
MSG games are always fun but wish it wasn't at noon. A night game would be electric.
Wait so we paid for 10 conference home games and only get 9..are they refunded
Of course not.
Gotta support the AD and fund their spending.
That money will go towards other AD expenses like the football gameday music operator's salary.

Do you think its fair we have to give up home court advantage for a conference game to play on a neutral floor when others do not have to?

B10 Basketball Schedule Released tomorrow

If it's a home game for Rutgers, then the B1G and MSU should have no say. It should be a home production along with MSG helping.
Huh? Others did. Remember in 2023 we played MSU at MsG and it was a home game for them.

That’s not the argument.
It’s giving up the home court advantage for a conference game and nobody else has to do it.
Playing a game at the Garden is fine.
The last time we played MSU at MSG it was a home court advantage for us.
Knicks play at 7:30 that night. It will be noon.
Every year there is a game.
Last year Michigan and Penn st played at the palestra in Philly and it was a home game for penn state.
It's aawesome we get to play in the garden.

I just told you. Penn state did it in 2024 and Michigan State did it in 2023 when they played us. This year it's our turn.

MSU did not give up the home game. We did.
PSU has a better home court advantage at the Palestra than they do at the Bryce Jordan morgue.
Hell they even played at Rec Hall last year.

It was Michigan that gave up a home game and played us at MSG on February 1, 2020 (right before Covid hit). RU lost that one but had very strong fan support. We gave up a game at the RAC to play Mich State in Feb 2023 and won that game. Totally makes sense given our 2 star freshmen to get a game at MSG this season. But, I agree, for each RAC game given up, we should get a B1G road game scheduled for MSG the following year.
I don't mind an MSG game, but I hate that it is MSU again. Izzo seems to get it so that we never play them at the RAC.
How many conference home games have Nebraska Purdue Michigan State Illinois Iowa Northwestern Indiana Ohio State Maryland played away from home court?

I also remember RU losing at the half at the Garden? Doesn’t happen at the RAC.
