The Rutgers women's basketball team (10-14, 4-8 B1G) will welcome Purdue (15-7, 6-6 B1G) to Jersey Mike's Arena on Thursday, Feb. 9 at 7 p.m.

Team played hard all night, as usual. kept the turnovers to a respectable number. We shot ourselves in the foot with the tough, contested shots from too much one-on-one. Not enough connected offense.

Coach should have the team study how Purdue played off of each other offensively. They make the extra pass to move the defense. We don't move a defense at all with player- or ball-movement. Much too easy to defend us.

Every time we threatened, Lasha hit the deflating three or driving bucket.

Post game show they said Purdue zone hurt them since most other games they’ve played against man defense.

Coach Hampton talked about the Purdue 2-3 zone defense threw our ladies off rhythm offensively.

We need to move the ball quicker. Also, need Kai to step up and shoot the open three looks she's getting. We need more than Kaylene looking to stretch the defense. It would be nice if , somehow, we could get Abby going in this rotation. Antonia and KB won't hesitate to take the three but they need to raise their pct.
