After the news broke Tuesday that the season would be postponed, Mike O’Neill gathered members of the Rutgers women’s soccer team for a meeting.
“They were obviously heartbroken,” the head coach said. “We knew it was a strong possibility that fall sports would be postponed, but we always had hope in our hearts that there would be a fall season.”
