Freshman Reanda Richards is moving on to the NCAA East Regional 400m hurdle quarterfinals and will vie for place at the 2019 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday.

Richards won with a PR and is going to compete nationally in Austin in June!

Thank you - absolutely know that Sorry - I should have been more specific - a first in women's track and field.
I am sure that the wrestlers would be happy to have others join them as national champs. And it is not likely Richards will win the whole thing like they did since she is just a frosh and there are others better than her in the nation at this time. But it is refreshing to see the east regional have Richards in first and not just a Q.
