Schiano Interview Thursday 11pm SNY

Was a good interview.

Greg spoke to the joy of the kids who had been there for years to win a Big Ten game.
He complimented Chris Ash and the the players he left --willing to work hard.
Talked about dealing with Covid-19.

Part 2 on Thursday.

In an ironic twist, the cupboard was completely bare behind him as he made that statement.
Ha!

The difference between Schiano and other new coaches is that Greg would never say the cupboard was bare. And we saw on Saturday there’s talent throughout this team.

I don’t know if any Coach would say the cupboard was bare. Maybe years later. It’s a direct insult to the current players. No Coach with half a brain would do that.

When he took over for Shea he said it hundreds of times, year after year. Interview after interview.
Not only that he insulted the players said they in no way were division one players, He would get
rid of them as fast as possible. This is why he lost games by 50 60 even 80 points. But that was then
Looks like he has learned a lot and is much much better. He delegates, now and is no longer the youngest
coach in college football. But let's not try to change history.

cupboard is definitely not bare and as many had said from day one, coaching, not talent was the main issue

ABC news also had an interview with Greg last night in 5:30 newscast and their sports guy later apologized to RU for picking MSU (his alma mater) in the game

well.. on defense at least. But we saw them playing very hard in difficult circumstances last year.

the offense still has questions to answer.. but looked 200% better than last year.
