When asked about his evaluation of his team he said he’s been here since December 1st. Hasn’t seen his team tackle or block.
When questioned about the offenses lack of production he said Sean Gleeson is doing a great job, and they will scheme to the strengths of the players.He also noted that it wasn’t just the offense that was struggling. He said the whole team struggled except for the punter.
He gave a great interview. I don’t know what this season is going to bring with no spring practice, and a month’s preparation to get ready for a season that’s starting late. Played in empty stadiums almost scrimmage like. Whatever the situation, you can be confident this team is going to get better every day. Depending on how well other teams handle adversity,we may surprise a few people. The one thing Schiano and company are good at, is preparing these kids to expect the unexpected. That’s the 2020 season in a nutshell.

Agree. Only way to find out the talent level on this team is to play games. This season is an outlier, so even if we’re real bad it will somewhat fly under the radar. We need to learn where we are as a team and at each position group.

Im looking forward to seeing Vedral at QB. He can both run and throw and seems like he could be a leader on this team.

Curious about the start of full pad practices. Schiano said end of this month - beginning of October. During the Simmons/Tucker segment looks like Sparty took to the field for the first time this past Monday and may be ahead of Rutgers, however not sure.
