Schiano's incredible success in player retention

It's funny as it made me look at Rutgers in the NFL since GS 1.0 as well as PSU players in the NFL since 2001 or so- We may not have the numbers but damn- when you take the percentage of those players that had and are having very good to better than good careers- it is actually pretty darn good for not being an "Elite blueblood" program

Which, as I’ve pointed out countless times before, and will be happy to do so again, until their fans finally understand… No penn state fan, in the history of life, moving forward, should ever (and i mean never) be throwing stones at another program, after covering up decades of institutional child rape

I'm not busting on al for the sake of busting, but he seems to be of the mind that without all the same shiny new toys the big boys have (fieldhouse, etc), we will never compete. Some of the teams in the CFP have shown you can make it without all the stuff the big boys have. NIL matters, and with the House settlement going into place, that should help RU on the NIL front. A lot of team fighting their way to get into the CFP group of 12.
