Setting this to 'semi-OT' because I know some aren't a fan of these, if you are one of those people, please don't bog down this thread with nonsense. Politely close out of the thread, if you don't post in here, you won't receive notifications.

Headed to Vegas tomorrow night so figured I'd kick it off a bit early. My buddies and I collectively sign up for betting info from the books to see where sharps are hitting, I'll try to keep the board informed throughout the trip. Please keep in mind there are no locks, and this is simply information if you have interest in this kind of stuff.

First Four lines:

TeamSpreadMoney LineTotal
TA&M - CC3.5 [-106]146O/U 135.5
@Texas Southern-3.5 [-114]-178
Indiana-4 [-110]-188O/U 133
@wyoming4 [-110]155
Bryant3.5 [-110]140O/U 155
@Wright State-3.5 [-110]-170
Notre Dame-1 [-110]-118O/U 131.5
@Rutgers1 [-110]-102

Obviously this stuff will move, but surprised Bryant is a dog - it'll be interesting to see if there's a play from the sharps there.

Now for some futures action going on for the tournament. There isn't a lot happening right now with regard to who will be the NCAA Champion, but I expect that to start popping today. There is one angle and it is a material buy that hit last night on Kansas +1200. Gonzaga got some money, but nothing major or material at +350.

There are two clear bets popping for regional winners. The largest sharp buy going on is Purdue +490 to win the East Region. It goes with some futures action reported at the start of March which saw a buy hit Purdue to win the NCAA Championship at +1600. Note that Purdue is over 20-1 when futures came out after the bracket was complete. So far no material action at that price for NCAA Champion.

The next material sharp buy is on the best Gonzaga vs the field to win the West Region. In this wager the field +138 is getting a decent sharp buy. Likely a value play as I would calculate fair value as close to even money (+105ish).

Beyond those two, not a whole lot going on that rises to a material level. Auburn +310 to win the Midwest Region is getting some sharp buy...but still a way to go to be material sharp money.

Let me know if you guys want me to continue updating/bumping this one. If not, let it die out.

It seems like Wright St is slightly ahead of Bryant in power ratings, but is then getting a few point bump for being somewhat of a home game.

Thanks for posting this. I don't love any of the first four value wise. I did place some futures today to win the NC. Took Iowa +2500, UCONN +8000, VA Tech +15000, and Indiana + 25000.
Would have taken Rutgers but obviously can't get them here in Jersey. I envy you as I was supposed to be out West for the 1st weekend but plans got moved.

Good luck out there and have a great time.

For those with a DraftKings account they have a profit boost which is free money.
Maximum bet is $50.
They boost the money line for the Gonzaga game from minus 10,000 to +100.
All you need to do is opt in and bet $50 on the Gonzaga money line and you should win unless there is the upset of the century.

I’m disappointed that DKNJ shut us out to pools this year. Last year, they were open to NJ residents, but you couldn’t select NJ teams while in the state (so had to pick opponents, or drive across the bridge). This year, they blocked them. There were some great overlays last year in them.

I like Bryant. Led by a rutgers man
I'll probably take Bryant just to have some fun with it, I feel like Kiss could be a favorite in the sportsbook if they win a couple games. Will be fun to watch

I like Iowa there, I'm not sold on VT or Indiana tbh.

Was there last week and must say Circa Sportsbook (and pool side) was really impressive - just no where near new strip (Fremont)

Parx now showing RU -0.5 with O/U. 131.5. I know ND tries to play a slow game making it hard to pick the over.

Nothing officially being labeled as a “sharp” play yet, but three games are sticking out as of this morning:

New Mexico State +7
Loyola Chicago +1
Texas Tech -15

I'm flying out to Vegas tomorrow night as well. Super pissed that RU will be playing on my flight (worst timing ever) so they'll just have to win so they play on Friday. Good to see that there will be some red out there.

If you see a guy rocking RU stuff say what’s up, we can grab a drink.

It’ll be nice with everything being back to normal, all the COVID stuff was annoying last year
