Much like Penn state in football, I cannot root for SHU to win at any point in timeKind of screwing us as of late, down 20 at Villanova currently and will likely fall to the fringes of Q1. Would really kill any tournament pipe dreams if they fall below 75
right but we are using SHU as our best non conference winSeton Hall lost to both RU and Iowa. Not good losses.
Minnesota never had a chance. They have the 362nd OOC schedule, dead last according to NET 347th RPI, the remaining 4 road games @ PUR, @ NEB, @ ILL, and @ NW. This is the last winnable road game. You can't have the easiest OOC schedule and get in and go 2-8 on the road, no OOC road games, 0-1 neutral.Minnesota really needs this one if they want to keep their longhot ncaa hopes alive
SH has NCAA hopes? Really? Not seeing them as one.being humiliated 70-43 by a very mediocre Villanova
damaging loss for their NCAA hopes and not good for the RU resume at all
right now they are a 12 seed last 4 in/last 4 out type...they have a win over U Conn AND Marquette, that is enormous.SH has NCAA hopes? Really? Not seeing them as one.

The chances of SHU making THE difference for us making it in, is small, so let them lose, and take our chances
Yes sir. I get it. Metrics rule. Just saying I don't see it as a team. Not overly impressed watching them.right now they are a 12 seed last 4 in/last 4 out type...they have a win over U Conn AND Marquette, that is enormous.
It’s not a matter of either program’s reputation, or based on past actionsTotally disagree.
To my knowledge no children were ass-raped in setonhall showers
So, no, the animosity for SHU pales in comparison to Ped State.
SHU is utterly irrelevant to me. We beat them so I hope they do well to help our #s
I could not care less about SHU
Ped State? I root against their women’s golf team

of either program
I dislike SHU as a basketball opponent and likewise for PU
Both based on being local and on the field or court rivals
Don’t want either to win
No way. We could really use a quad 1 win - especially on the road. Getting more would be great. But why toss our only good road win aside and hope we find more to replace it?With Donovan Clingan going out with his foot injury in that Uconn loss to SHU, it's kinda hard to take that win too seriously. RU probably needs SHU to lose more games than rooting for SHU to win. There's way too much Q1/Q2 stuff. A quality road win is what RU will need at Wisconsin and at Minnesota, while playing well at Purdue.....those 3 items are more critical than worrying about what SHU does or doesn't.
The Big East is probably maxed at 5 bids and I think Butler/SHU are the 2 that make it 5.....but if SHU falters, it will likely be just 4 from the Big East. Providence, St John's are going in reverse and Nova is in the RU boat, needing to get to 18 to 19 wins, before the Big East tourney.
Having Q1 wins outweighs removing one team from the bubble (which I guess has to be why you want SHU to keep losing?). We aren't going anywhere without a few Q1 winsRU probably needs SHU to lose more games than rooting for SHU to win. There's way too much Q1/Q2 stuff.
Maybe a lot of Valentine’s Day parties last night?
Maryland Crowd looked similar.
I guess unless Catlin Clark is playing and Taylor Swift is in the stands (for some, not me )Maryland Crowd looked similar.
Borderline NCAA teams.
I guess maybe a hoops game on Valentine’s Day isn’t the wisest idea.

Not disagreeing. Hey. If not Rutgers I am always happy other programs rep Jersey including Princeton, FDU, St. Peters and the Hall.If they win 12 conference games in season IMO they will get in.
