Theyre a very good team. I have a lot of friends who are fans. Desi Rodrigues is a fun player. Powell is gonna be a great player and obviously Delgado is still there.
Good for NJ and for basketball. Hopefully we can reach that level of success quick!

The 6th man needs to be ready for this game too! We have a job to do.
Carrington is also very good and Frosh Cale has star potential too.
Sonogo and Nzei are key role players inside as well.
If RU somehow finds a way to beat SHU that will be a sure sign that Pike is ahead of schedule. With a down year in the Big 10, a win over SHU would mean we are capable of beating just about every conference team on our remaining home schedule, with the possible exception of Purdue.
Just like FSU, I expect us to keep it close the whole game (didn’t expect it vs MSU, thought we’d hang and then get blown out in 2nd half) .. unlike those 2 though, this is one we MUST close out on AT ALL COSTS ... no easy baskets for them in last 4 mins, foul if you must. Give not an inch. Make them run. Hit our jumpers like we did this weekend. Gonna be fun
These games having meaning will only help both teams in recruiting.
I am looking forward to this game. RU needs to play it's best game to have a chance to win. Geo and Corey need to play under control. Thiam needs to be more aggressive. Need some 3s from him to loosen things up.
Hall fan here. I am very excited to attend this game at The RAC. If there is a year for Rutgers to be primed for an upset, this is the perfect roster for Seton Hall to counter it. Last year it was clear the first half The Pirates took their foot off the gas and took Rutgers lightly. This year I do not expect that to happen. Seton Hall has been playing mature being lead by their senior core. They know how important this game is and will come in extremely focused without their guard down, they won at Louisville they will be ready to play at The RAC. Of course the upset happening is not out of the realm of possibility I think it will be close the majority of the game. I know RU fans here don't want to hear this and wait longer, but I believe next year will be the first time in a while you guys have a legitimate shot of winning, looking forward to Saturday, looking forward to a great game.
Desi Rodriguez is the one you want to foul. Delgado plays well without fouling. I am sure going at Rodriquez for fouls is in the scouting report. Throw some pump fakes, etc.
Or Desi. I agree. Biggest concern is foul trouble if you are an SHU Fan. Delgado plays very passive defense especially in the first half to preserve his fouls. Expecting a very tough game at a fast pace.
I couldn't agree more about it being good for NJ basketball. If local NJ kids are energized about the game it will only encourage them to remain home and be part of big time basketball...
