It was a tight game. The Cards had won 58 of the last 59 home games against non conference opponents.
- Willard has had a 7 year head start on Pikiel. It didn't happen overnight.
- The BE has done a good job of recruiting kids that want to play at a BB-only conference in major cities. That has helped us.
- Don't underestimate Holloway as a lead recruiter.
- Willard/Lyons took a huge risk rolling the dice with Morton to get Whitehead and its paid off to jumpstart the program.
I was one of KW's bigger critics but he has followed up that IW class with some decent ones. Cale may end up being the best of all.
These wins have energized the SHU fan base.
