That's . . . amazing. In what felt like bitter cold weather, that's a pretty great turnout.
Color me surprised, I thought the move to Friday night had the potential to be a horrific failure, but that's why I'm not the AD of a Big Ten university.

Were we dwarfed by 5 other schools in the Big Ten? Sure. Are we clearly second tier (or even high third tier) in attendance? Yup. But I'm still pleasantly surprised by this development. Man, if it were even 10 degrees warmer . . . and imagine if the athletic department had made the students aware of the event! o_O
