Been off the board mostly for a couple days. Looked like Diallo took his minutes last night. Is he still on the team?

Yes, Doorson is still on the team. He played 3 minutes and had 2 fouls. Diallo played much better as he had 4 rebounds, 3 blocks and was 2-2 on the foul line in 18 minutes. I think in the BIG games Diallo will be seen more often than in our OOC games.

Matchups. All it is. Doorson-Delgado.

Versus Diallo/Delgado.

Delgado versus anyone last night is a really hard matchup. Nothing to be ashamed of.

I think he is one of the best centers in D1 basketball at the moment.

It was great seeing Diallo getting meaningful minutes. He played a good game. I think this will be a situation between Doorson and Diallo where the one playing better will get the backup minutes at center.

Diallo put himself in the mix for more playing time and the key is Competition and battling hard in practice for playing time......"this is not little league baseball"

Diallo definitely deserved the minutes. I didn't even notice that Doorson played (watched the game at a Christmas party without the sound). Wondered if he left the team.

I think you have to increase Diallo minutes more so much more athletic than Doorson. He had 2 blocks of the opposing big man on jump shots. Needs to get better position on the rebounds

I'm sorry, but Doorson doesn't look like he has learned anything since he got here. I know the injury robbed him of valuable practice and game time, but there seems to be a definite lack of bb IQ. A definite detriment last night (I know Delgado is terrific).

Coaches comments at the last Court Club meeting were: Diallo is the #3 center and is not versatile enough to play the 4, so he wasn't getting minutes. Also said matchups could determine who gets time (that was more of a Laurent answer but could apply to Diallo as well.

You saw him as a detriment in the 3 minutes he played against Delgado in the first half last night? Is that the same first half that Delgado struggled a lot....I mean a real lot.

He has been improving and played a few nice games....and a few where he struggled. That's what happens when you a big man early in your Sophomore year.

sorry, Choppin. I guess I saw differently than you. I've seen no improvement since he walked into the RAC--in playing or IQ.
