He needs to go at the end of the season. Clearly incompetent. The culture he is building is a losing one. There is no teaching going on, the recruiting is horrible, and the return to mediocrity is at least 5 to 7 years ahead.

Sadly I said the same thing . I wanted Greg back and I get it he gets time . But man he sounds like a politician nowadays and not a football coach. I have posted that in previous threadsHe would make a good politician!
And I think he should get it.At least 2 more regardless of how bad it gets
I'm sure there were people saying that about Ash, too.Fans should be patient enough for a 4th year. Losing the last game in such an embarrassing way amplifies the perception that the program is in a bad way when it might actually be close to being a good program.
2 more years of this and it will take 10 years to dig out of the hole. And I think he should get it.
The stands will be empty next season. And I think he should get it.
The entire season has been dog shit since the Wagner gameFans should be patient enough for a 4th year. Losing the last game in such an embarrassing way amplifies the perception that the program is in a bad way when it might actually be close to being a good program.
Agree 100%.Remember when the vocal contingent of fans and message board geniuses lambasted Hobbs for wanting to consider other options and said he should let Greg run the program?
An 8 year deal for a coach nobody else wanted was ill-advised.
I'm not giving up on Greg yet, but next year is no excuses. A bowl and 3 B1G wins or GTFO.
And all the fools treated him like some conquering hero when he showed up for his intro presser in big dark SUV like Tony SopranoHe did his 10 years to qualify for a state pension & then bolted. He came back when nobody else wanted him & he knew where he could make some big bucks fast. Sorry---
Thought you were talking about Franklin here.He needs to go at the end of the season. Clearly incompetent. The culture he is building is a losing one. There is no teaching going on, the recruiting is horrible, and the return to mediocrity is at least 5 to 7 years ahead.
Yet ya’ll are still Butthurt he bolted from your school as the ‘coach in waiting’Thought you were talking about Franklin here.
Zero chance. His next step was always SEC.Did Rutgers have a chance to hire Josh Heupel before he got the Tennessee Job???
He would at least brought a exciting offense here.
