So there will be a game 7. Who you got?

Dont mind if either team win tonight, all i want is a great game. But with the way FOX, ESPN, and most of the media are basically ignoring the Indians for the great Cubs Story, I may be more ok if Cleveland wins tonight.

WOW! 1st ever lead-off HR in a Game 7 and EXACTLY how the Cubs needed this game to begin!

104? years. Gotta root for the Cubs. Also Bobby Murcer was a Cub at one point. Don't like the idea that a pitcher can pitch 3 of 7 games. TTTIIIIIRRRREEEEDDDD!

The Curse will be lifted courtesy of the Yankees .The last time a curse was lifted was when the Yankees announced the new stadium. The Sox won it that year.

Give Chapman a ring and a one way ticket back to the Bronx. Time for #28! Next curse to be lifted?-RU!

See Mickey Lolich (Detroit), Bob Gibson (St. Louis)....

GO TRIBE!

Going perfectly for Cubs. If Hendricks gets you through 5 at 3-1 then go Lester for 2/Chapman for 2. Need at least a 2-run lead for Lester I think.

Cubs win and here are my thoughts as to why:

- they absolutely, positively, had to start hitting the ball and score runs tonight. They did. Yes, they're facing an "ace" tomorrow night in Kluber, but I'd rather face him coming off a night where you really have to feel good about how your lineup swung the bat and ran the bases then had you squeaked out 5-6 hits and won a 2-1/1-0 type of game tonight.

- NOT playing at Wrigley. Here me out. The pressure for them to win at Wrigley tomorrow night, if they were hosting Game 7, IMHO, would be almost unbearable. Like....a dropped fly ball or bobble grounder in the infield, to lose the game, unbearable stress. I think the players would start feeling the stress the minute they leave the stadium tonight. On the road, even though there will be a ton of Cub fans there again, a lot different (again, IMHO).

Cubs 3-2. Chapman goes the last 3 to pull it out. Ices arm for a week.

Called it about getting to Kluber tonight.

The riots and car fires and mayhem will be huge!!

Can't believe they took Hendricks out. Guy's pitching a great game - and that walk should've been a strikeout. Still, Cubs going to be tough to beat now, up 5-1, but the great thing about baseball is there is no clock, so comebacks are much more possible than other sports.

Like I said...no way Hendricks throws that wild pitch...

Got to go with the cubbies. There are so many people I work with who would be devastated with a loss tonight. Productivity would definitely take a hit. I don;t know anyone personally who roots for Cleveland.

Do you work in jersey? Why the hell are so many ppl you work with emotionally attached to the Cubs? I smell bandwagoners...

On a side note...F the Cubs. This game absolutely sucks.

Per Elias, David Ross the first Cub to homer in both the 1908 and 2016 World’s Series.

He is pretty old, lol - reminds me of the actor, Brian O'Byrne, who played a rogue "immune" sub commander in the series, "The Last Ship."

Wow. Don't think anyone saw that coming. Talk about heartbreak if the Cubs blow this now after being up 6-3 with 4 outs to go and their closer on the mound. People will really question why Chapman pitched last night, which wasn't necessary.

I was going to turn the game off an hour ago lol. Guess this is how a G7 should be played

Yup...stupid
Going to his slider now

I remember that Chapman gave up 2 9th inning homers against the Twins on a Saturday afternoon this year.

I've always thought Madden was a great manager, but there are some real head scratchers here. Aside from Chapman pitching last night, how do you have a guy bunting with 2 strikes? Do it in June, fine. Game 7 of the WS? Cmon.

That was a real head scratcher and you could see Baez was not happy with the call to bunt.

Ok #s....here's your specialty. I'm looking at a radar around Cleveland and it seems there's a decent window to keep playing. What's this delay all about?
