Not bad, but the play tonight was sloppy to say the least. CVS not going to be a happy coach in locker room. Scaife with 20, Canty 9, and Copper 9/7. WSe would have had a real struggle if we were playing a better team than Iona.

Until the conference schedule starts, we won't know how we stack up (stating the obvious).
It's hard to tell right now whether we are improving

Gives hope that this season will be a good one .
Turtle does make a good point and but I expect RU will continue its winning ways in conference play.
Hopefully will be one of the top B1G teams.

Loved that CVS gave a lot of the bench extended minutes during the 3rd and 4th quarters last night. They performed very well defensively. They seemed a little challenged offensively as it appeared no one wanted to step up and take a shot. But that was valuable experience if any one from that group gets called upon to play meaningful minutes in conference play.

I get the idea that we could have made the winning margin as large as a UConn blowout had we kept the starters in until later in the 4th quarter.

It was nice to see the non-starters have the extended minutes, during the game as opposed to the final minute or two. CVS even started them in the fourth quarter. I liked their intensity, especially Alex's on defense, I just wish she could have been open for a good shot. Ashley looked good and confident, assertive and smart. Cynthia was working at aspects of her game that didn't involve long range shooting. The defense was quite good.

Looked at teams they lost to ... One loss teams.
I assume you mean RU's losses. Yes, both Seton Hall and St. John's have only one loss, and, while their competition hasn't been the highest, the signs are there that they both should have strong seasons in the Big East. Assuming they do as expected, these losses will not unduly have a negative effect on RU's dance chances.

Losing to FSU was NBD.

It all comes down to Rutgers doing what they have to do going forward. Go RU!!!!!
