I suggest that you stay at the Heldrich. For upscale dining on friday or saturday night there is Stage Left, Catherine Lombardis, or SteakHouse 85. More casual there is Raffertys or Brother Jimmys ....some good places on Easton Avenue and some terrific options at TheYard on College Ave where there is Surf Taco, Bellas Burgers, Jersey Mikes subs, and Honey Grow...
Lombardis isn't really all that "upscale".. Stage Left is... well, I guess it is on the border. Good value for some great southern italian fare.
agree...upcale by NB Standards? maybe what I mean "its not inexspensive" Frog and the Peach and Stage Left are at the top of the list ...Catherines is not what Panicos was back in the day...but its good quality and atmoshphere
