I may or may not have started that thread and subsequently almost broke the board. Ive only started a few dozen threads but I once asked for a ride to a rutgers game, and most responses were hilarious comments that I was offering free candy or was a serial killer. Eventually I got the ride and we beat usf on a thursday night. Ahh memories. The 10K posts to beat WV thread from '07 that broke when it got close to that number.
Agree, that was priceless.Birthers vs Truthers lasted 15 pages. Much of it very contentious and a lot comic gold.
Agree. I think it was the Guatamalan chick rolled in a carpet, that was my favorite.Any NYC Banker thread
The thread about the gap. People were all wadded up over that for like 7 months.
Expanding on the "Gap"...It was a fun time.
Gap threads were classic hand-wringing.
Guilty as charged. I was the guy that started it with my "concern."
I really thought we were going with the old Stanford Stadium look...

Guess I took in a little too much smoke that day. LOL
And no love for the RU Cammo threads? Those were a riot.
Yeah, but I really was concerned.I'll fess up too..
- castle in the endzone
- death star over the stadium
- Sanuclear Missile, etc.
Yeah, but I really was concerned.
I was THAT idiot. LOL
If the shoe fits...It sure did for that one. LOLHah. I actually coined the term "gaptard." Although I posted under a different handle back then. Truthfully, while I remember you being the most -- shall we say, vocal -- I think you always believed it would work out...it just didn't look that way in the progress photos.
Willis' "wrong" post and thread.
In a class by itself IMO.
2nd place tie....virtually any one of those hilarious threads on the current events board.
Any post with a sig of Kbee's famous 2003 quote about how Schiano was already dead and gone here.
Red helicopter sightings.
Schiano's Escalade whereabouts.
The poster was "DontTedonMe". If I remember correctly it was his first post, and one of the few that led me to literally spit out what I was drinking at the time.Finklestad bus trip made me laugh the most, followed by (NYC Banker?) story about the guy at work who uses the toilet without a stall.
Some of the look-alike threads were classic too.
Any of a half dozen rants about the catastrophic TD Club bus trip to West Point.
Any of a hundred battles between regular posters and that nut job TSoprano trying to highjack their threads.
The Fink caravan was an all time classic.
RU Camo, hahahahaha.
Please. I still shake when I see a charter bus.
