"Sorry Folks" was an all timer... Other classic threads?

This hands down might be the funniest photo shop I have ever seen! My 8 and 10 year old daughters want to know what is so funny I am looking at, but I can't show them.

Threads about:
-Sanu doing all these stupendous things (except eating at Subway)
-A game at Navy a few years ago where posters were complaining about RU fans standing in front of them in the lawn end zone area, a ugly four-pager that was.

The 10K posts to beat WV thread from '07 that broke when it got close to that number.
I may or may not have started that thread and subsequently almost broke the board. Ive only started a few dozen threads but I once asked for a ride to a rutgers game, and most responses were hilarious comments that I was offering free candy or was a serial killer. Eventually I got the ride and we beat usf on a thursday night. Ahh memories.

During our HC search The thread where someone took a photo of a restaurant in NYC with a RU helmet on the table and someone posted another thread claiming they were having lunch in the city with their RU helmet on the table and some weird dude was taking pictures. Classic.

Vinc-wrongo

Willis' "wrong" post and thread.

Al convinced that Tre Timbers doubled in size from a year in Butler's S&C program after seeing a head shot taken a year earlier when Tre was still in high school.

The thread about the gap. People were all wadded up over that for like 7 months.
Expanding on the "Gap"...It was a fun time.
Gap threads were classic hand-wringing.

Guilty as charged. I was the guy that started it with my "concern."

I really thought we were going with the old Stanford Stadium look...

Guess I took in a little too much smoke that day. LOL

And no love for the RU Cammo threads? Those were a riot.

Shame on you all that we are on page 2 of this thread and nobody has mentioned Max's mom and what was reportedly set out on a table for his announcement. The legendary YPP lives on to this day!!!!!

I'll fess up too..

- castle in the endzone
- death star over the stadium
- Sanuclear Missile, etc
- SL's Sherman/margolin stuff.. cheering on Sadam.. getting shot by Lincoln.. etc

I'll add the Brian Leonard / Chuck Norris-like thread.. funny stuff.. and that it is quite sad that nothing on the basketball side come close to making the list... maybe the thread on various Fab-this and Fab-that classes... on the CE board.. any 9-11 conspiracy thread by the guy who claims to personally know everyone.. I know a guy who this and that.

Yeah, but I really was concerned.

I was THAT idiot. LOL

Hah. I actually coined the term "gaptard." Although I posted under a different handle back then. Truthfully, while I remember you being the most -- shall we say, vocal -- I think you always believed it would work out...it just didn't look that way in the progress photos.

If the shoe fits...It sure did for that one. LOL

Another was when somebody named njsportsfan posted with a minute left in the temple game about how pathetic we were for losing to temple, before we got a 4th down stop and scored on a 4th and 13 to win the game. The thread was bumped for weeks to embarrass him

In a class by itself IMO.

2nd place tie....virtually any one of those hilarious threads on the current events board.

Any post with a sig of Kbee's famous 2003 quote about how Schiano was already dead and gone here.

You mean "To me it really looks like GS is a lame duck coach already. That's how I see it from where I am."-
Mr. Treeman ?
I was made to agree not to use that as my signature anymore....or else.

I think I have only one that I started that I can throw out there as a possible candidate ..The Scarlet Eskimo ? That might have broke a 1000 posts... may not be a classic by what I believe is the definition here though. More of a human interest story.

RUPsyco's post about one of our cheerleaders, and she found out and thought he might be a middle aged man who was stalking her and she got very upset.

Live from Rutgers Al studios video. Was great. All you could see was a big block R on the wall for the whole video.

Finklestad bus trip made me laugh the most, followed by (NYC Banker?) story about the guy at work who uses the toilet without a stall.

Some of the look-alike threads were classic too.
The poster was "DontTedonMe". If I remember correctly it was his first post, and one of the few that led me to literally spit out what I was drinking at the time.

A lot of all-time classics have already been listed. I take credit for one of the first uses of Whoopie Goldberg in the look alike thread, which led to 'Nuts spitting out his coffee. Honorable mention goes to his "Politi is a douchebag, Part..." threads.

Any of a half dozen rants about the catastrophic TD Club bus trip to West Point.

Any of a hundred battles between regular posters and that nut job TSoprano trying to highjack their threads.

The Fink caravan was an all time classic.

RU Camo, hahahahaha.

Please. I still shake when I see a charter bus.

...I took my best friend and his (now) wife on that trip as a birthday gift for him. I think at one point he told me to never get him a present ever again.
