I'm more than a bit concerned about attendance on Friday. I just spoke to my son and asked if he was going. He didn't even know about it and he's a huge college football fan!
Does the school do anything to promote this to the student body. He's in a frat so I figured someone in the frat at least would know about it and maybe even have a tailgate planned. I don't know how this is not promoted better to the students and especially to the fraternities and sororities who would bring large groups to the game. If we want to be big time, our athletic department better start doing a better job of promoting one of the few successful teams that we have! Maybe my son just hasn't noticed the marketing campaign, but it's incredibly disappointing if his ignorance of the event is indicative of the overall student body and my guess is that it is.
