Strategic planning & thinking ahead

It would be interesting to know if there are any recruits setting themselves up to be January 2018 enrollees ...
- while it seems far away, anybody intending to do so would either have already gotten their academics all squared away - or is conferencing with their HS guidance dept right now to make sure that their fall schedule contains everything they need to make it possible.

Doing this is neither inherently 'good' nor 'bad' - more a matter of individual situation and goals & plans. It is not for a kid who wants to deservedly savor every drop of his last semester "victory lap" - but for a kid really ready to start the next chapter - it gives them a way to roll right into the college life & establish a positive routine.

It also is a plus for the team in that - for every official early-enrollee it is one less prospect to hand-hold down through the perilous shark infested final days of recruiting - lets staff really focus on the remaining key prospects - secure them & maybe be able to put some clever extra effort into a few flips

Thanks - would seem that it would be a real plus for the team & the recruits who are in a position to do it & are personally ready.

It is not for everybody - some kids are at High Schools that don't support this - and some kids are not ready to make the jump until they have savored their last drops of HS senior year - -but
A savy & visionary kid who is ready can look at this as an opportunity to bankroll credits & to get a leg up on getting up to speed with the program.
