Syracuse especially targets players from New Jersey, and aren’t afraid to broadcast it.Every top school will target the best players in every state Al.
Syracuse just targets the same players Rutgers does.
Syracuse al should take a break from posting. Him and Syracuse#1 Fan.We are so screwed. @Knight Shift
why didnt we recruit laquint allen? He plays hard. Good receiver out of the backfield tooSyracuse especially targets players from New Jersey, and aren’t afraid to broadcast it.
Pretty sad you just realized this. Do you think Penn State, Wisconsin, Notre Dame etc. may recruit Jersey too? Please share more revelations with the board.Syracuse especially targets players from New Jersey, and aren’t afraid to broadcast it.
If he was here and lined up in the backfield, he never would have been thrown the ball.why didnt we recruit laquint allen? He plays hard. Good receiver out of the backfield too

news flashI'm waiting on his groundbreaking news about which direction the sun rises.
Has Penn State etc advertised they recruit New Jersey the way Syracuse does? No, they don’t. This is something new. They are going to be more aggressive and assertive in recruiting New Jersey. You can go back to sticking your head in the stand. Sorry for bothering you.Pretty sad you just realized this. Do you think Penn State, Wisconsin, Notre Dame etc. may recruit Jersey too? 99.9% ? So of the 1,000 NJ players on the Cuse roster, only one has not seen game action? I think not.

It sure seems that, based on the latest recruiting classes, Syracuse is the least of RU's worries.
past recruiting isn’t the issue. It’s recruiting going forward, now that they are going bowling and have a Fieldhouse to sell.Syracuse must be missing their targets. Here's the choices (currently...nothing has been signed yet) of Rivals New Jersey top twenty 2005 recruits:

A stronger Syracuse is bad for us because it will directly impact our recruiting going forwardPSU sells itself. Syracuse does not. Syracuse does not have one commit in NJs top 20 according to @kbee.
They are wasting advertising money in the Garden State.
Pretty sad you just realized this.
Amazing how you continue to pull crap out of where your head is.Has Penn State etc advertised they recruit New Jersey the way Syracuse does? No, they don’t. This is something new. They are going to be more aggressive and assertive in recruiting New Jersey. You can go back to sticking your head in the stand. Sorry for bothering you.
You continue to spew nothing but BS out of your mouth.Syracuse al should take a break from posting. Him and Syracuse#1 Fan.
The point is the newspaper article cost Penn State zero. The Syracuse ad graphic was created for Jersey recruits the same way Rutgers creates ad graphics for Florida recruits. So at least Fran learned something while he was here. You wouldn’t see Penn State create a similar graphic for Jersey recruits because they don’t have to do that.Amazing how you continue to pull crap out of where your head is.
You wanted Penn State "advertising" how they will target New Jersey for recruits? Please see the link below for nothing new. .
Penn State Advertising Recruiting Efforts
There are many other examples. Off the top of my head... Ever hear of Syracuse's cocky Greg (we're going to recruit their tail off) Robinson, George "we'll be in every New Jersey HS" DeLeonne, Mark D'Nofrio at UVA with our recruiting board info and at Miami with Al Golden etc.
Actually, they have the #17 rated recruit in NJ's 2025 group. Small potatoes compared to what we're up against vs. Ohio State and Pedd State.PSU sells itself. Syracuse does not. Syracuse does not have one commit in NJs top 20 according to @kbee.
They are wasting advertising money in the Garden State.
I was pointing out the present recruiting efforts for the 2025 class. That's not the past. That's now.past recruiting isn’t the issue. It’s recruiting going forward, now that they are going bowling and have a Fieldhouse to sell.
Why is that kid in New Jersey 2025 rankings if he's playing in Maryland this season per his Rivals bio?Actually, they have the #17 rated recruit in NJ's 2025 group. Small potatoes compared to what we're up against vs. Ohio State and Pedd State.
This is the first time I’ve seen Syracuse initiate a social media campaign for Jersey Recruits. Haven’t seen it before.Every school creates graphics for recruiting and many times it involves geographic areas they are concentrating. Remember Miami doing this when they were hot in NJ. Recently Penn State and Michigan created ads and social media posts pointing out recruiting priorities heading to Ann Arbor and state college from NJ.
To say Fran Brown learned this from Schiano is crazy. Been going on since the 80’s in various forms.
They’ll be recruiting 2026 based off this years results. The class will be mostly complete by August. Why is that kid in New Jersey 2025 rankings if he's playing in Maryland this season per his Rivals bio?
In any event, Syracuse has 30 verbals for 2025 of which 2 at most are from Jersey. Is Al actually worried about recruiting for their class of 2026 after playing this 2025 schedule??? LOL
2025
Aug. 30 vs. Tennessee *
Sept. 27 vs. Army West Point
TBD vs. UConn
TBD at Notre Dame
* Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game in Atlanta, Ga.
ACC home games: Boston College, Pitt, Duke, North Carolina
ACC away games: Clemson, Miami, Georgia Tech, SMU
If Schiano decides to retire, sure, why not?Could Fran be a possible rutgers head coaching candidate in 4 years ?
But, but... but fieldhouse, right @rutgersal? 😀Syracuse must be missing their targets. Here's the choices (currently...nothing has been signed yet) of Rivals New Jersey top twenty 2005 recruits:

It sure seems that, based on the latest recruiting classes, Syracuse is the least of RU's worries.
And I was pointing out that the ‘25 class is mostly done. We’re not battling Syracuse for any ‘25 recruits, as far as I know.I was pointing out the present recruiting efforts for the 2025 class. That's not the past. That's now.
And, of course, these recruits can't sign on the dotted line yet....so their recruiting is still going on. Check with Chase Linton on that.
It’s a fact that Schiano says he needs a new football facility. Hope this helps. But, but... but fieldhouse, right @rutgersal? 😀
Good post, @Kbee3, thanks. Facts are always helpful, at least among those who prefer facts to narratives.
