8 teams standing and none are from the B1G. SEC should be sticking out it's chest.

SEC 3
P12 1
ACC 1
WCC 1
B12 1
BE 1

The 5 top B1G teams all interchangable. All good teams, but none great. Next year will be a different story.

Wisconsin and Michigan both lost by 1 point .The SEC clearly is the surprise conference for this tournament which clearly was helped by the upset losses to Duke and Villanova.

SEC helped themselves on the Duke upset, don't you think?

All SEC East teams too. Granted Arkansas was the only SEC west team to get an at-large bid to the tournament. If Ole Miss had only beaten either Creighton or Virginia Tech, they might have been in the tournament also.

And anyone who simply counts the teams left in a round to evaluate overall conference tournament strength after hundreds out of conference games were played in the regular season is wasting time.

So if Walton's shot travels 6 inches further and Florida doesn't make a 15% chance 20 foot floater, then the Big Ten has two teams left (as many as any other conference) and is suddenly this underrated conference that everyone slept on all year......
