Want to have a more sane time on these boards...just use the ignore feature. Just click on the poster’s name, and click ignore toward the upper right on the next screen.

Getting rid of just a few select posters will elevate your life on this board.

    Easy. Peasey.

I can’t see who sent this.

I do the same over in Football so maybe that helps here. I have done it once or twice here too.

Philosophical question: Can I put myself on ignore?

i don't use the ignore feature. i tried it a few times and then noticed that some posters, although very annoying, sometimes have opinions worth considering. I noticed also that many posters will change how and what they post over time. This forum is a community where everyone is welcome and all opinions are valued. What bothers me the most is a personal back-and-forth between posters that completely derails a thread. Generally the mods do a good job of addressing those situations.

Again, it’s a few select ignores that I find helpful.

It’s similar to sitting away from someone at a dinner party because you’d much rather hang with others. And it makes this forum more enjoyable for me.

    To each, his own.

Have never used the ignore feature and never will. Nobody's posts are that annoying to me, even if I argue with them, lol.

Imagine how frail & uptight you have to be - to care to ignore someone on a message board. It'd actually be kinda boring -- if everyone were "choir boys" and just agreed on everything. I couldn't imagine being so sensitive
