The good news out of the game, I guess since it was a great performance on the road against a top-25 team .. RU stays at #25 in the NET (no drop and we were #30 after IU game), while OSU jumps from #28 only to #26 after “upsetting” us. Still great to be top-25.

Iowa is #24, Indiana #8. Purdue is 3. And Seton Hall is #116
Also don’t look now but UMass Lowell is #37 at 8-1 and is about to be a Quad 1 win for us

Just win our games the rest of the way and we don't have to worry about the ****eyes

Rutgers now at #24 thru games of 12/9

Opponents:
8 - Indiana (W)
26 - OSU (L*)
37 - UMass-Lowell (W)
54 - Miami (L)
157 - Temple (L)
197 - Rider (W)
281 - Sacred Heart (W)
336 - Central CT St (W)
345 - Columbia (W)

Next 4:
114 - Seton Hall
81 - Wake Forest
195 - Bucknell
219 - Coppin St

Losing on the road to a ranked team or good team does not hurt your standing in any power rankings as long as it was a close game.

Even if they were unranked it would not be a bad loss. What hurts is losing at home, and or losing to bad teams.

Losing to Temple was a bad loss. Miami and Ohio State are not going to hurt.

Plenty of games left to make it to the NCAA tourney.

We still need wins though. You also have to assume we lose some games by a significant spread. Every team has some duds and losses games they should win

The new NET mitigates the sting a little bit, but we may have been top 20 had it been recorded as a win rather than a close, asterisked loss.
