. . . Rutgers started the season 16-2 was 2007-8. That's also the last time the team started the season 17-2.

. . . Rutgers had an 11-game winning streak in a season also was 2007-8. As you might guess, that's also the last time the team had a 12-game winning streak. (RU had a 12-game winning streak from the end of 2014 through the first 6 games of the 2014-2015 season.)
