Maryland does not win games by alot in general this year and they tend to play down to their weaker opponents except for their first game against Illinois, RU could hang around in this game but the thing with Maryland is while they keep opponents in striking range, they simply know what to do at the end to win, they have been doing this for almost 3 years now. Remember RU in Jordans first year played Maryland close at Maryland and at the RAC until the final minutes

For those of you who haven't watched the Terps play this year (and as someone above alluded too), we rarely ever blow teams out or run away with games outside of the last few minutes, so I'm expecting nothing different tomorrow night, especially now that you guys have some confidence going.
I'll say: Terps 75, RU 64
But it will be single digits basically for the entire first 30 minutes. It's kind of our thing.

My sentiments exactly. They did smoke Illinois 84-59 Dec 27th though.
i'll go with another great 1st half defensive effort followed by a bad 2nd defensive effort/result (this has been the pattern)

What a shame we have to listen to an announcer who knows more about our program than most others, and is a bit of a homer, and always has positive things to say. Who would you like to listen to, LaPhonso Ellis and Hugh Gass?
You really think Bob knows more about 2017 Rutgers than other BTN commentators like Shon Morris and Jon Crispin? I don't.
I watch my share of games - RU and non-RU - and I can say with certainty Bob has lost a little off his fastball.
No need to criticicize the best coach we have had in the last 30 years.
This one is always tough. If Melo plays I see a 9 point loss; like 71-62. If he doesn't play; it's a closer game and we have a shot to win. The win on Saturday could give us the confidence we need to get one on the road. Corey is playing at a different level right now.
It's important to play good tough games against Maryland and Wisconsin and carry them into Iowa and at penn state

Yes but you beating Nebraska, who is only the 2nd team to beat Maryland at home in the B1G, will certainly get the attention of the players. We have Cowan and Brantly who are playing so well right now, I think they can make due without Melo.
I do not think Maryland will take Rutgers lightly at all.
Maryland 78 Rutgers 59. Don't see this as a good matchup at all. I hope I'm wrong. No Trimble could go a long way towards making it a better game.
Certainly the most successful. But in our case that's like being the tallest midget in a room.
Bob does indeed still folow RU very closely to this day. So does he know as much as Crispin about say Illinois or Purdue? Probably not, but RU, his alma mater and former employer? Yeah, I'll take Bob.
