I hope our women come out with their hair on fire after the debacle the other night. I'm predicting we rebound (pun intended) from that loss and beat Northwestern.
I don't predict, but I do worry. Part of the reason is the coach of Northwestern. He had, at times, our number when he was at GW. Nice guy - and I have met him, interesting story, but hate Rutgers playing him.
This is a difficult game to predict because of the Hollivay injury, the non scoring from the point guard and center positions and the knowledge the opposing coach has of Rutgers because of his GW experience.
For what it's worth, Joe McK's record against RU during the time he was at GWU and CVS was at Rutgers was 2-4. RU won the last 3 and 4 of the last 5, including the Sweet 16 game in 2008, his last game before he went to Northwestern. The last loss to GWU when he was there was in 2001.
