I'll play Plum. When something goes wrong I always blame people at the very top. Should we have opened up the wallet and hired a HC with some star power and experience? Absolutely!! I believe with a Rich Rodriguez running the program we would have a very very strong recruiting class and assistants that would have both Harbaugh and Meyer doing homework. If we would have taken a shot when Petrino was available a few years back we would litterly be threatening for a Rose Bowl appearance right now. What about giving a second chance to Mark Mangino (before responding look at his resume).
At the end of the day we stink because of your Institution first and foremost, State Government and diverse NJ population that is oblivious to college sports. May not be nice but knowledgeable posters know I'm telling the truth. It always comes down to money.

Didn't you know we would be this bad ? Preseason experts had us last with 2 to 3 wins and quests what ? We are last with 2 wins and maybe we get s third somehow but it does not look like it.
I agree mostly . I wanted petrino so bad and even the mods here didn't want him and wanted to keep flood. Makes you wonder what the mods and others really want out of Rutgers .
But I must ask you , rich rod ? Really ?
I wanted petting too. So many were against him. I don't think most RU fans understand anything about our football program.
