Well with Julie and Kyle joining the walking dead earlier today, great day for a mid-season finale. The tip toe through tulips is a bit creepy. Just waiting for Glen to save the day.

Maybe Julie can take over running Alexandria....striking resemblance yeh?

Just pretend......it will be OK. Screw that. get your sheet straight Junior. Mommy should have told him to keep his mouth shut. I officially hate Morgan now. What a do-gooder dick. Too bad Carol didn't play it right.

Duct tape the kids mouth. At least Judith is keeping quiet...

Guess Daryll and the gang aren't going to save the day with the fuel truck and RPGs?

Weak mid-season conclusion. Though I guess going back to the "walker smocks" was the only realistic way they were getting out of that house. Morgan is a wussy.

Don't understand why they stopped. I would have pulled a Cledus Snow, and driven right over them with Abraham laying down suppressive fire. They were stopped, kick stands down, engines off, close together.

Going to be interesting if Carol comes to before Morgan.

Shouldn't they always be wearing walker smocks when walkers might be out and about?

How in the world did nothing happen in a show where lots of things could have happened (sans that stupid little twerp yelling at the end). Did I miss parts of the show?

Did Glenn make no effort to get back in (just seeing Maggie on the platform)?

I don't see how Morgan can still stay with this group with badass Carol trying to kill him and nobody sharing his views (I'm also surprised Carol didn't die).

I don't like doctor girl who got kidnapped. There's zero chance I would have lowered and passed off my guns with 5 people in the basement that the Wolf could have killed.

Still no sign of the rocket launchers?

That scream by what's-her-dying-face was absolutely awesome.

Does anybody think the baby gets killed off, or do they let her grow?

Good for Carl, but how has that other kid not killed him yet? Every time he has Carl with his back turned, he doesn't kill him. So he waits until they're in a contained space to truly try to kill him? Good for Carl to let the kid live, though. That's big of a teenager.

Stupid mid-season finale. When's the show back? I miss it already.

Judith better live. I can't stand when kids are "hurt or killed" in movies/TV. Why show this? Not necessary IMHO.

Speculating that Glenn and Enid will get the walkers away from the town. I also predict that the kid with the gun will end up accidentally shooting and killing Enid somehow.

She gets killed in

She gets killed in the comics when her mother is shot by the governor and his people.

They addressed this on Talking Dead. Writer said that they would have to constantly refresh the guts because they lose the smell etc.

Right? I did not understand why they didn't go through them. They have a rocket launcher!

And what about Ron (the older brother that almost shot Carl) - his idiocy attracted walkers to the house. That kid needs to go.

As for Morgan - if Carol comes to first and sees that their doctor is gone, he is in for it! His rationale is not conducive to what they need to do! In other words, he is off his rocker (and yeah, I saw "why" he is like this)! Letting that Wolf stay was beyond irresponsible. And he hid him because he knew NO ONE would agree with him. Once again, he is going to get people killed.

The biggest problem with this show (and I say this having watched religiously for years): when you need a "wrap up" show to clarify salient plot points, your writing sucks. The second biggest problem is that they are just recycling the same themes of hopelessness/moral ambiguity over and over. I'm bored, and not just because the show last night was boring. The third problem is that the de-facto lead, Rick, is a screw up yet anyone who challenges his moronic decisions is portrayed as a dick or a bigger screw up and is summarily dispatched.

Morgan has entered the truly annoying zone...so, to maintain his zen, he takes out Carol protecting the wolf...smart. real smart. fludd smart in fact

I thought last night was very engaging overall, but my wife pointed out an inconsistency with the Wolf holding a gun to the wife's head when Rosita and Tara come in: the group has little problem at this point hitting walkers in the head while on the move. He is a stationary target 15 feet away and their guns are on him. You would think they could make that shot, although I can understand some hesitance in that scenario.

Morgan either needs to admit he was wrong and kill the Wolf when he wakes up to atone for what he's done, or he can't stay in Alexandria. Assuming Carol does not wake up first and kill him.

I did not know there was a scene after the credits rolled. Dang it!

A little bored as well. I hope the new bad guy doesn't turn into Gov. II.

Looking forward to RPG play. Maybe they'll find some non-biodegradable packing popcorn, mix it with all that gas, and get us some napalm.

The Wolf didn't waste everyone once he got the gun. So when Morgan wakes up he's going to use it as proof that he's making progress with Mr. Wolf. 1-0 baby.

I agree. The dialogue on this show is excruciatingly bad. I would fast forward through it if my wife didn't object.

I've said it here before. The Zen act is not appropriate, all things considered. Morgan pissed me off, and I knew his act would do more harm than good. First thing's first. Deal with the wolf that's at the door (See what I dI'd there?)... then, get philosophical.

Its a TV show about zombies. Just sit back and enjoy. Don't worry about inconsistencies. Almost every show has them.

As far as the after show, that's how popular the show is, I can't recall any other show having an after show. People actually have walking dead viewing parties.

Just enjoy the show for what it is.

I didn't like the episode at all and think they are playing this storyline a bit too much. Also, how did the tower fall?

Again, the issue isn't the aftershow. There is a whole genre of show wrap-up podcasts that I happen to listen to around many of my favorite shows. I highly recommend The Watching Dead on Baldmove.com. Those guys are more entertaining than the show, and one of the reasons I keep watching.

No, the issue is having to explain plot deficiencies and weak storytelling during the aftershow. My goodness, they had to basically come out and spoil the Glenn non-death because the scene was shot so poorly and deceptively.

It was a question posed by a audience member, and explained by the writer. Again, it's a zombie show, enjoy it for what it is.

Also according to the comics there is suppose to be a group much worse than the governor, termites, wolves. Could this be the group that shot at Daryl etc?
