They made sure that Kentucky and Baylor could not possibly meet until the final,if at all.
It goes like this:If Kentucky wins the NCAA,the Yankees go on to win the World Series-except if the Cats play Baylor in the NCAA.
It's worked every time.I discovered this in 2012 when I heard a radio play by play man say that it was the first time that Kentucky played Baylor at all since in the Tournament in 1948,the only two times these teams have ever played.Kentucky won the title both years, but the Yankees didn't make it.Every other time, the two have won in tandem.
If the Cats go on to win the title without playing Baylor, everything will break right for the Yankees.
Hopefully,Wisconsin will beat them, putting suspense back into the upcoming baseball season.Plus,we can feel great about playing .500 against the champs.
