What is happening to Nebraska, today, couldn't be any worse for us despite the game being 2 weeks away. If I'm an RU fan I do NOT take any solace in them losing to Purdue.
I disagree, Nebraska losing won't hurt us. They should lose next week to fall to 3 and 7. No bowl shot so less motivation.

Yeah. It would be terrible to a Nebraska fan and have won 4 or 5 NCs since 1970. Just an awful situation.
Another clueless Rutgers fan. Nebraska has a bad season and somehow they are in a worse situation than us? We wrote the book on bad seasons.
Firing Pelini was the right call, who they hired to replace him is what's questionable.
I'd take Bo as RU coach in a NY minute...
We'll see. Gotta get the guys in there for his system. Remember, he won 9/year with not-so-great recruiting classes at OSU.
I agree, the question is will they give him time to bring in the type of players he needs. I think Riley is a good coach, the reason I say his hiring was questionable is because NU was built for decades to run a completely different style of system.
Worse than Nebraska. Lol. They would never have a guy like Flood as head coach, and if found themselves in this situation they have the money to make a change. The president of Nebraska actually wants to win. The RU president doesn't even know what s football is.
Nebraska's big advantage in the '90s was that they were running the option, which most of the power schools had abandoned. Most teams couldn't defend it effectively because they never saw it. They could also recruit to their system. Now they have to recruit the same kind of players everybody else does.
