Yeah. It would be terrible to a Nebraska fan and have won 4 or 5 NCs since 1970. Just an awful situation.

I agree, the question is will they give him time to bring in the type of players he needs. I think Riley is a good coach, the reason I say his hiring was questionable is because NU was built for decades to run a completely different style of system.We'll see. Gotta get the guys in there for his system. Remember, he won 9/year with not-so-great recruiting classes at OSU.
Nebraska's big advantage in the '90s was that they were running the option, which most of the power schools had abandoned. Most teams couldn't defend it effectively because they never saw it. They could also recruit to their system.
