"We still haven't gotten over [losing to Rutgers]," Hayes said. "As far as Penn State goes, if you look at their record, it wasn't the best record. But if you look at their games, they'd lose games by one or two possessions so it's never like they were getting blown out.
"It just goes to show that our league, from top to bottom, is tough."
