This is just wrong
No it is not. (Read the whole thing is you really care)

You now have examples to give
to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th.... graders, "Hey kid, you better start working out here in the field. And you better turn the TV off and put the phone down and start taking your studies seriously. By the time you get to Junior High you better be in a position to be looked at by colleges. You don't have the time to mess around anymore."

Offering these young kids couldn't be better for the younger generation. Now there is no more, "I've got soooooooooo much time before I need to take this stuff serious." Then the kid is a sopohmore behind and a lost cause in the class room.

Its the college football program's problem having to evaluate talent. Plus, the kid who was offered as an 8th grader has incentive to keep his act together. There is NO question these college football staff's are telling this kid, "Your potential is up "here." You put in the work and get there, stay out of trouble and pull "these grades," a scholarship is waiting for you."

Then you have all the other kids around this kid who was offered. Jealousy will breed a motivated bunch to get their acts together.

And the kid stops growing, messed up, or does poorly in the classroom? Tough, you're out. Welcome to real world Moz is living in.

Its a win for everyone.
