I have been reading a lot of excuses here. Time to stop.
It is time to wave the white flag. It is late January and we are now pinning our hopes on making the BTT and going on a historic run to make this season palatable…making the BTT , let that sink in.
Time to face reality. The Harper/Bailey led team is a bust of epic proportions. Jordan Dercack , of Merrmimack and Colonia lore, was Rutgers best player on the court at MSG in a marquee game.

What a stupid post right after we lose to undefeated in the BIG 10 when AcE has a subpar shooting night and Dylan is hurt . We have transfers and returnees that have failed the team but the freshman have shown out and are all starting to show out.

We are 6-10 in the last 16 games with 3-6 in the Big. We are no longer playing the Monmouths, Merrimacks, and Wagners of the world at the RAC anymore. 6-10 with losses to Kennesaw and Princeton during that stretch. We sit at 10-10, the same record as last season at this point, that is pretty bad.

There is one legitimate meaning - forget wins and losses, sit the veterans, focus on getting the young guys experience which will help you in the future.

So, play Dortch more? May make sense, but hardly moves the needle.

This flawed team played extremely competitive against Alabama , Texas A& M and Michigan State , all top 10 -15 teams , with chances to win all 3 . Switch those 3 and we are 7-7 vs Q1,23 and 4-4 versus Quad 1. Why don’t you tell me what we lost to those 3 teams combined was ? Let’s keep Dylan out of the equation since the New Year since we already had that discussion where you believe it really has not had an impact.

There are still a good chunk of people like you coming up with excuse after excuse as to why we are not a national embarrassment this season.

We are a total failure this year and I have serious doubts our coach recovers from it next season.

He legit is the only one that hustles everytime he is in the game and at least tries. Mental errors in many ways with what he does with the ball on offense but kid has heart.
