To Those Giving Up Their Season Tickets

Please post your section, row, and seat numbers so those of us that want to upgrade know what will be available.

Thank you.
What's your point, you're Mr. Super fan who never quits, never gives up, never stops fighting?
You should be coach, we have a coach who's created a culture of the exact opposite.
We all know the players individually give 100% and don't quit, but collectively they're clueless, disorganized and unprepared…this is the culture KF has created…you support that? You think it's great to ignore that?

What the ticket office does is call all the surrounding seat holders to give them first crack thinking they would be most likely to want to add more seats next to theirs'. Good strategy.

This is a bs post and you know it

Most of the people on this forum, which maybe represents 10-15% with their season tix group, have been around a long time and will be here for the long haul And won't be giving up their seats

However....the moderate fan who is not l on this forum..we need to be really really concerned about their continued participation in a program going the wrong way very quickly

It's not the fans

It is the coaches and leaders of our program

Channel your energy best to support the program which is new leadership for it before the current leadership makes it a lot worse for the next guy

If Flood is still our coach next season you won't be able to get mine because all 6 of them will be stuffed up Barchi's ass.

O.K.
So I've got a reason to want Flood back.....I wanna see you do THAT.

I hope they do this. But I think their calls are based on priority points first.

was this thread really stared on oct 31st and brought back to life tonight? I was going to welcome RJ back but then realized he was filmed here about a month ago LOL.

This is a good strategy. In basketball I was able to move much closer to the court when FHJ was the coach. And with great seats close to the court, I could sell my seats for select games to visiting fans for a significant premium.

I bet I could get a couple hundred bucks each for 40 yd line seats 20 rows up for the Michigan and Penn State games.

Sec 121 Row 32 6 seats

Based on the number of seats RU was selling in this area this year you think those are gold? Go for it! Put YOUR money where YOUR mouth is...

By the way, I have great seats, if Flood is back you can certainly have mine.

This makes me sad.

..but so does seeing Flood coach this team.. so I can understand why people find better stuff to do instead of going to see a Flood-coached team. But I'd like to suggest keeping the tickets and not showing up as an intermediate position. It will cost more... you'll dtill support the program as a whole and your empty seats (and minimum donations because you won't need parking).. will hurt the AD's budget and maybe, FINALLY, she will get the message.

Keeping Flood to save money will COST her money.

I repeat..

Keeping Flood because of budget issues will COST RUTGERS MONEY.

You will never make your money back on your investment just selling those two games. The rest are basically worthless.

Oh how a MISS rating the thread to rate the RATING KING.:thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

I will be giving up 4 seats, however if they hire a good coach, I will donate more and try to move to a better location

I hope you are enjoying the floor seats I gave up for basketball as well. I find I don't miss them.

In football I'm in the upper deck so you don't really need mine, section 210, 8 tickets. Maybe you'll get use out of my Blue parking passes though.

I love the tough talk about getting better seats. You must love the basketball program.

I don't think ticket holders are going to give up their spots, I think they will not go and not sell their tickets. I may be wrong, so I wonder, will anyone of you guys be selling your tickets?

You can probably sell one of your tickets at triple value if you let the person sit near you, lol. You're a good guy. I saw the museum video and it is very good.

I may keep a couple and not go, I may just give them up. I'm not keeping them all, I have extras to bring friends and no one wants to go.

I'm curious why people think that ticket holders won't give them up. They did for basketball. They did in 2010. Why is it suddenly different? When you can pick any game and go without any real effort, why buy them all at a premium?

I think that the teams that we play have a lot of local fans. Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State, Penn State, these are big time shows that people will want to go see. I would think that you can get your season ticket money back by selling a couple of these tickets.

No, you can't. The tickets were not going for a premium for those game this year. I literally could not give my tickets away.

We just played Nebraska, the best traveling team in the country, in front of a half empty stadium. I couldn't give my tickets away.

I am surprised at that. Stub hub prices were expensive so I guess they didn't sell. My ticket selling theory is based on ticket prices that I saw not actual sales.

This is pretty much where I'm at; I have good seats on the 20 downstairs but I could live with going to 1-2 games a year and watching the rest on TV which would save me a lot of money. I have 3 tickets but often only use 1 or 2; lately I haven't been able to give the seats away (aside from MSU and OSU). I'm not sure if I'm going to bother going tomorrow since most of my large tailgate (~20 people) have already bailed. I'm starting to think staying home is the best course of action for those who think we need a change in coach. The empties will speak louder than booing our coach during his PSA.

The bottom line for me is this: if our admin isn't willing to invest in the program to make us competitive, why should I?
