Tons of progress today. We should've won.

Played & coached much better but we still need to cut down on the turnovers & mistakes (players & coaches). Like Iowa, we should've won this game & this season would look a whole lot different at 4-4 with 2 B1G wins & a legit shot at a bowl. Our O looked good & we moved the ball very well on a stout D. Gio's injury & inability to run in the 2nd half hurt big time & hopefully it isn't too bad. Goodwin was very good today but I'd still like to see Hicks & Martin play more & have 2 of the 3 on the field together consistently to have an even more potent O. I'm not sure the D can do much more than it did today--pick 6, some key stops, not a ton of points. STs needs work.

"should have" beat Illini also..big margin between should have..and winning.

once again an awful first quarter..you cant get down that much and expect to win.

The team is what it is, turnovers and the like are part of the game, hard to say we should have won, we had the lead and let Minny march down the field and kick the winning fg..they earned the win

there was progress today, obviously RU is a different team with Gio and it gives the defense a punchers chance. Still there is so much to work on to put it all together

work to do:
1.Defense.from line to linebackers..need talent starting with LINEBACKERS..
2. Special Teams..close to Div2 level,poor coaching..
3.Offense..Lineman pass blocking is poor and WR talent..very thin..poor feet placement on wide open catch on sideline by a senior..come on.

Agree on all you said, I'd put Special Teams as #1 weakness, and quickest way to improve the program.
