Tulane's head couch on the way out

That is a downtrodden program that makes us look like USC (despite that headscratching loss 4 years ago). Maybe with their new stadium they can attract some players, but jeez they've been bad forever. They did have that good year with Shaun King and one of the Bowden brothers.

Didn't know they had a lot of All Blacks fans in WV!

What about the foot rest and futon?

Haha- horrible joke - just like our coaching squad. I salute Tulane for not setting

just saw on Twitter that Tulane is preparing to fire head coach.

I was thinking they had a couch for players who were having some head problems....you know....where they could talk to a shrink or something. I couldn't figure out why they were getting rid of it until I opened the thread.

the head couch is on the way out? so are the hostesses going to be bringing in portable cots to perform their duties on recruiting visits

Another guy who never should have been hired. 15 years as a WR coach......

Outside of a random season here or there Tulane has been bad for a long time. I don't think Army has beaten a team more than Tulane in the last 15 years. Curiously, Tulane has become a popular college for metro area students. Not sure why because they aren't "cheap" (WV is also popular in metro area due to lower out of state tuition).

They're in New Orleans.

Tulane attracts a much, much, much higher caliber of student than WVU. It's silly to compare the two.

Maybe...if I was concerned with "student caliber" I think I could do better than going 1200 miles away to a humid, bug-infested college with bad football for 66k a year. But I have heard students say they found Tulane less snobby and academically combative than some eastern schools.
